Exhibited in The Museum of Us in Taipei, “The Gift Shop” is a one day visual exhibit exploring the sentimental values and stories that are attached to specific objects shared by designers Yo Yo Pan and Jack Lin, through different phases of their long distance relationship.Each object is associated to a memory that marks the time, the location, and even the scent of a particular destination. Each item solidifies its identity through becoming part of this exhibit and collectively an invaluable perpetual present that lives on in each visitors’ memory.
